Migrant Worker Solidarity Project 〰️
We have partnered with the Migrant Workers Centre of BC (MWC) to develop migrant worker-advised campaigns and fund solidarity services.
This summer, artist collective Love Intersections brought together 16 migrant workers to tell their stories and create a unifying artwork of their experiences.
Slime Studio created the beautiful window mural now on display at 525 Carrall Street in Vancouver. The project will be up until the end of August 2026.
Our Active Solidarity Projects
LEO Know Your Rights Planner
The new Legal Education for Outreach (LEO) planner has 26 pages of resources in Spanish, a calendar, and notes tracking pages that empowers migrant Workers in BC with an important know your rights toolkit.
We have launched a fundraising campaign with a goal of $10,000 to fund a full print run of the planners this year. Help us fund the solidarity print run by making a donation.
Migrant Workers Solidarity Campaign
We have launched a solidarity network across the province of BC to organize against immigration raids and workplace exploitation targeting migrant workers.
Join the network and organize a chapter in your workplace, organization, and commit to meaningful solidarity action with migrant workers in Canada and across the world.
Stop the Raids Campaign
Organizers are sounding the alarm with reports of increasing immigration raids. Workers who put food on our tables, build our homes, and care for our families deserve dignity, not deportation.

Migrant Workers Centre of BC
The Migrant Workers Centre (MWC) is a non-profit organization providing FREE legal services to migrant workers across British Columbia. They work to promote and advance access to justice for migrant workers by providing legal support, system navigation, advocacy, research, public education and engaging in law and policy reform initiatives.
MWC is the beneficiary of fundraising solidarity efforts and is not involved or directly endorses campaigns unless specifically noted.

Launch a Local Solidarity Chapter
We believe that sustained solidarity will come through structured action. Migrant worker advocates have called on communities across Canada to be ready to protect migrant workers from unjust immigration raids and to support services through advocacy and solidarity fundraising.

Start a new supporter outreach campaign
Most people don’t know that there are precarious migrant workers in every community. Start a solidarity chapter in your workplace, union, place of worship, or community. Individual invitations are the best way to build capacity and sign people up to learn more about solidarity and to get involved.

Host a workshop or lunch-and-learn
Bring your chapter together over coffee, an online video meeting, or lunch with a migrant worker solidarity workshop. Ask your local union or organization to sponsor the workshop and each participant to make a solidarity donation of anything from $1 to $100. Every penny counts!
Worker Support Campaigns
Construction worker Francisco Barahona is facing nearly $400,000 in medical bills for cancer treatment after his medical coverage was terminated when he became too sick to work.
Join the Sanctuary Health campaign fighting Francisco’s deportation order and to ensure he can receive the life-saving cancer treatment that he deserves. You can also support Francisco’s solidarity fund.
Anti-migrant and immigrant hate is on the rise in Canada. Luis experienced this first hand when he was shot on his agricultural job in BC’s Okanagan by a random gun man.
